Conference

Conference interpreting deals exclusively with verbal communication. The interpreter must naturally and fluently render a message from one language into another by adopting the delivery, tone and convictions of the speaker.

It should not be confused with translation, which deals only with written texts.

International conferences are attended by people different backgrounds and cultures and speaking different languages. The interpreter’s job is to enable them to communicate with each other, not by translating word-for-word what is said, but by conveying the ideas expressed.

• if required, we can offer at least two simultaneous interpreters with knowledge in the necessary language combination; these interpreters will work in 30-minute shifts. The type of interpreting can be determined depending on the type of event;
• we can also provide equipment: interpreting booths, headsets, projectors and technical support;
• we would be delighted to help you in each step of organising your event: interpreting, conference material and invitation DTP (Desktop Publishing Services), telephone and e-mail drives, conference hall set-up and reservation, hotel reservation, transportation and accommodation of your guests, catering, banquets, city tours, etc.;
• we also provide professional consultations on organising conferences, symposiums, congresses and training.
